Ready to make a difference and experience Rooster Walk like never before? Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the festival, and we’re offering an amazing opportunity for YOU to get involved and earn some epic perks.

Types of Rooster Walk Volunteers:

  • Standard Festival Volunteer 
    Volunteer during the event: May 21-24
  • Pre-Festival Volunteer 
    Setup on the immediate days leading up to the festival. Shifts happen between May 16-20
  • Post-Festival Volunteer 
    Breakdown on the immediate days following the festival. Shifts happen on May 25 and/or May 26.
  • Pop’s Farm Work Weekend Volunteer
    Physical labor positions at Pop’s Farm in the months leading up the festival.

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteers who complete the assigned shifts will earn:
  • Full 4-day General Admission ticket for one to the entire festival (value $199)
  • Official event volunteer t-shirt
  • On-site walk-in primitive tent camping
  • Off-site parking at Mom’s Field
  • Coffee, water, snacks
  • Gratitude, community, and new friends!

Volunteer Deposits

A refundable $50 volunteer deposit is required of all Volunteers. 
Purchase your deposit here (it’s a ticket option under General Admission Tickets). Your deposit will be returned to you after the event if you have completed your assigned shifts.

Good-standing, returning volunteers have been sent an email on how to waive the deposit.

 How the Volunteer Process Works

Apply: All volunteers must submit an application.

Deposit: A $50 refundable deposit is required of volunteers. 

Purchase your deposit here (“Volunteer Deposit” is listed under Tickets). The deposit ensures you will show up for your confirmed shifts. The deposit is refunded within three weeks of completion of your final shift.

 Review & Acceptance: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

 Scheduling: Volunteer schedules begin going out in early May. Scheduling priority is based on application timing, deposit completion, and past experience.

The earlier we receive your application and deposit, the better your chances that we will be able to schedule you accordingly.

 Arrival & Check-in: Final check-in details are sent the week before the festival.
