Ghost-Note is a dynamic, genre-blending instrumental band that pushes the boundaries of funk, jazz, and hip-hop. Formed in 2015, the group was founded by percussionists Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth, both Grammy-winning members of the influential jazz-fusion band Snarky Puppy. Ghost-Note is renowned for their high-energy performances, tight grooves, and experimental soundscapes.

Their music incorporates elements of Afrobeat, R&B, and psychedelia, creating a fresh, innovative take on modern funk. With an ever-evolving lineup of world-class musicians, the band fosters a spirit of collaboration, improvisation, and unfiltered creativity.

Ghost-Note has released critically acclaimed albums like Fortified (2015) and Swagism (2018), which feature contributions from notable artists such as Kamasi Washington, Nigel Hall, and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer. These records showcase the band’s ability to seamlessly weave complex rhythms and lush harmonies into an irresistible groove.
