The Local Table
Originally from Martinsville, chef Todd Johnson has owned Mezzanine restaurant in Richmond since 2008. Specializing in local fare straight from the farms, oceans and rivers that surround us, Todd recently decided to buy a food trailer and hit the festival circuit! The Local Table features locally sourced ingredients that are used in his globally inspired menu. Try some of the favorites like Carolina shrimp and grits, braised beef short rib tacos or bison burgers!

Dank Eats
A Raleigh, N.C.,-based food-on-wheels service that offers delicious fare at festivals. Serving dishes like quesadillas, chipotle chicken bacon wraps, shwarmas, breakfast food and even vegetable wraps are staples in their menu. After being disappointed by festival food for many years, they have proven through their passion, commitment to quality and friendly service that they are a force to be reckoned with.
This Asheville, N.C., pizza sensation loves to frequent the festival circuit and serve up some incredible pies. With a focus on providing the freshest of ingredients picked up from local farmers markets, Bangin’ Pies’ fire-oven pizzas stand alone! Get their cheesy crust pizza by the slice, a full 18-inch pie, calzones or even honey and cinnamon bread sticks.
This Martinsville coffee shop and café will be serving delicious fruit smoothies and freshly squeezed juice. They have an affinity for keeping things light, casual and friendly while enjoying the company of good friends and family. With a focus on offering quality, fresh dishes, The Daily Grind stands as a Martinsville staple.
Rising Sun Breads is a local staple in Martinsville, baking organic, nutritional and preservative-free artisan breads, bagels and desserts. They provide top-quality, all-natural ingredients in every item they make using an Old World bread-baking technique not typically seen anymore!
Since 1995, this Raleigh, N.C.-based traveling ice cream company has been serving up some of the most refreshing and tasty ice cream at music and art festivals. Their freshly made waffle cones help make them stand apart. So if it’s a hot day out, and you’ve danced your pants off, what better way to cool down than to grab a scoop of Masterpiece Ice Cream’s finest?
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains for Floyd, Buffalo Mountain Kombucha offers an interesting, yet delicious beverage that will fix whatever ails you! Steeped in the rich history of Asian and Russian healing traditions, kombucha is a tea with living organisms that help strengthen the immune system, detox the circulatory system and rejuvenate kidney function. Delicious George is a mobile french fry cart based in Charlottesville that serves up some of the tastiest fries in the game. These arts and music festival frequenters get creative with their fried creations, as they’ve recently come up with fried pickle chips and chocolate fritters!

In 1999 the Pinholster brothers set out across the East Coast in the van selling the most comfortable hammocks and accessories at music festivals, and have grown to be such a success they decided to settle in Asheville, NC to grow the thriving Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) company. You can try out one of their hammocks and other outdoor gear for free at RW5 at ENO Island!
Started in Chico, Cal., back in 2002, Klean Kanteen was ahead of its time in seeing the problems with plastic bottles and the harm they would ultimately come to cause this planet. They have developed stainless steel canteens, cups and food canisters as eco-friendly alternatives. So if you’re thirsty after a long day of dancing, fuel up using a Klean Kanteen!
If you’re looking for a fun way to get down to the tunes at Rooster Walk 5, look no further then the Northern-Virginia based Inspiral Hoops! These great handcrafted hoops have been developed for dance, fitness, yoga and a whole lot of fun. They’re perfect for all ages and no experience is required!
Hits the links at Rooster Walk this year! The good folks with Explore Disc Golf are bringing the Mobile Disc Golf Experience, a temporary three-hole disc golf course that will be set up at Blue Mountain Festival Grounds. Drop by their booth to learn more about the sport or “check out” FREE discs, just like you would check out a library book!

Created in Charleston, SC, Bird Flower Creations will be on hand at Rooster Walk 5 to sell their eclectic collection of artistic creations. If you’re looking for forever fashionable fingerless knit gloves, beautiful butterfly necklaces, fun sock monsters, leather cuffs and more, then Bird Flower is your ideal place to stop!
Caravanserai
Caravanserai is a traveling Apothecary. Millie Khatri creates unique personal oil blends using intuition and insight toward her patrons and the natural vibrations of the moment. At Rooster Walk, she will offer her skills as a Henna Artist, Perfumer and Herbalist. All products are hand blended and created through the wise woman ways. Caravanerai has many healing butters used to moisturize and also scent the body, infused herbal oils, and a great line of liquid black soaps.
A critically acclaimed author and Martinsville native, Kristen-Paige Madonia will be reading an excerpt from her young-adult novel, Fingerprints of You. The story centers on 17-year-old Lemon Williams, a girl whose childhood has followed the rambling path of her free-spirited mother, Stella. When Lemon begins her senior year at another new school, she realizes she’s pregnant. As new life grows inside her, Lemon boards a Greyhound bus and heads west to San Francisco in search of her father and the true meaning of family. Paige-Madonia’s reading will take place from 1:15-1:45 Saturday on the workshop stage. She will also be selling books at her booth located near the children’s area.
Madurobob’s Luthiery custom builds three- and four-string guitars and a variety of other unique and upcycled musical instruments. All the blues greats from generations past learned to play by building guitars from whatever materials they had available. Madurobob’s guitars and other instruments continue that tradition, using recycled materials wherever possible, but adding modern touches where critical. The result is an excellent playing and sounding instrument and a fantastic conversation piece. You will find it hard to put one down after you pick it up for the first time!

They even offer an option for the youngest of Jerry fans!

This environmental/outdoor educational organization located in Patrick County is dedicated to the earth and all who inhabit it. They offer wild educational programs and classes to people of all ages, such as wilderness survival, exploring the world of edible plants via kayak on the Dan River and numerous classes for young children.
