BlackberrySmoke-RoosterBlackberry Smoke, a hugely popular Southern rock quintet that performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno just a few weeks ago, will headline the second annual Turn 5 Concert Series this fall during the NASCAR race weekend near Martinsville Speedway.

The Turn 5 Concerts will offer two nights of live music on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-26, 2013. Blackberry Smoke will headline a three-band lineup on Saturday, Oct. 26th that will also include Old Southern Moonshine Revival and Tenured Soul. What’s more, the Worx, which were recently named one of Virginia’s best bands by Virginia Living Magazine, will headline on Friday, Oct. 25th. Other Friday bands are Madrone and E.T.A.

Tickets to the Turn 5 Concerts are currently on sale at this link. A weekend pass will cost just $20 in advance, while Saturday-only tickets will be $15 each, and Friday-only tickets will be $10 apiece.

This two-night concert event raises money for local and regional charities. Last year, organizers donated $18,000 from the event’s proceeds to charity.

The Turn 5 venue is located at 423 Clover Road in Ridgeway, Va., within easy walking distance of Martinsville Speedway and its official fan campgrounds.
